Hi! I am Kerry

Hi! I’m Kerry, the artist behind Of Wild and Wonder. My art is inspired by the magic hiding in nature—the little sparks of wonder all around us. As a neurodivergent artist living with chronic illness, I create at my own pace, embracing the ways my perspective shapes the whimsical worlds I make. Through my creations, I hope to bring a bit of joy and happiness into people’s lives, to encourage slowing down, noticing the world around us, and remembering the magic that’s always there. I especially love working with clay, turning a simple blob of mud into a tiny creature with its own personality, purpose, and spark of joy. Every piece is a little friend, a reminder that magic—and wonder—can be found in the most unexpected places.

About Of Wild and Wonder

Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the world! I’m Kerry, the artist behind Of Wild and Wonder. You might be wondering—why Of Wild and Wonder? Well, it reflects two big pieces of who I am and what I create.

“Wild” speaks to the untamed, free-spirited part of me, but also to nature itself. Nature is at the heart of my creativity, grounding me and inspiring every piece I make.

“Wonder” captures my curiosity. I’ve always needed to know how and why things work, diving into the ins and outs of the world around us. Wonder is about exploring, questioning, and delighting in the magic that surrounds us every day.

Through Of Wild and Wonder, I hope to share joy, spark imagination, and offer a sense of belonging. My art is a way to bring a little bit of nature’s magic into your life and remind us all to slow down, notice, and wonder.

The Dream

Let me introduce you to Betty! I’ve dreamed of having a camper van since I was a little girl—a cosy little home on wheels where I could travel, create, and make a living from my art.

Betty is a vintage soul and needs a bit of love, so our first mission is to get her all ship-shape (or maybe “van-shape”!). Once she’s ready, I’ll be able to take Of Wild and Wonder on the road, visiting markets and events in a way that works with my life as a neurodivergent artist living with chronic illness.

It’s still early days, but every little step feels like magic, and I can’t wait to see where Betty and Of Wild and Wonder go next
